NSU Firefox Student Ambassadors Meet-Up(II)

Hello people, whoever is giving me 5 minutes from his/her holiday to read my blog-post, yes! its worth 🙂

After 4 months 2 weeks we, the Firefox Student Ambassadors of North South University met for the second time with old and new both faces.

We started sharp at 10.00, almost everyone was on time. I started distributing swags to our student ambassadors, they seemed happy as it was their first time face to face meeting with me. We started with our agenda, our agenda was,

-Welcoming the new NSU FSA
-Discuss about the contribution ways
-Distribute work of upcoming FSA event
-Teach FSA about l10n
-Teach FSA about Webmaker templates localization
As I lead the welcoming part, everyone was told to sign up . Then I started talking about contribution ways . Later on they were shown the Firefox OS(Developer preview).
When we started discussing about future events & workshops, 2 of them(Saqib & Zarif) seemed interested to give us a place, YAY! 🙂
Then Rashik started talking about l10n, how it works and how to contribute with it, why is that necessary .
Then I talked about webmaker, it’s templates localization.
Later on we started our HackJam! Special thanks to Rashik, Al-Amin, Shafayet who helped to make this event a success. They were Webmaker mentors for the day. We were divided into 3 groups for learning Thimble, Popcorn & X-Ray Goggles. In spite of of huge problem of wifi speed and network problem of modem they managed to teach each and everyone about Webmaking.

Then, I talked about Mozilla foundation, persona, thunderbird, firefox OS, app of the month etc.
After that we had one interesting but semi-easy MozQuiz where Zarif got 10 questions correct!Tuhin secured the second place(9), Raad and Momin bro secured 3rd place with same marks(8)..!They were gifted with Mobile bag, Mozilla sticker and tattoo !
All the FSA were given one specific make to remix it and some of those are:
Later we took a group photo(Saqib missing, he went for his midterm exam by that time)
Special thanks to Trisa Islam for awesome photos, person behind the camera 🙂
Thanks everyone and happy holiday!
